Library Fun Is Already Happening in Horizon West!
Library Pop-up Events Emerge Ahead of Horizon West Branch Opening
HW Branch Opening Date to be Announced
Construction of the long-awaited Orange County Library System (OCLS) Horizon West library branch is well underway, exciting Horizon Westers of all ages. Passersby may have noticed that the building looks great, but it is not open just yet.
An announcement of the opening date is expected soon!
The new branch has been designed with Horizon West Regional Park in mind, offering 20,000 square feet of library space along with OCLS’s first planned outdoor events area. The Library's design features expansive windows and a deliberate emphasis on integrating with the surrounding nature, both inside and out. A Florida native flower teaching garden, a nature path with a permanent StoryWalk® installation and a large native oak tree as the visual centerpiece will help blend the library seamlessly with the natural surroundings.

The branch and joining park space are designed to serve as a community hub, offering not only books and digital resources, but also a range of cultural and educational events to our Horizon West community.
In anticipation of opening in Horizon West, OCLS is keeping residents engaged with a variety of ongoing events and programs in Horizon West, including on-going clubs for kids and adults as well as the popular Summer at Your Library event series.

Waterleigh Adult Craft ClubList Item 4
Try something new or hone a familiar skill in this craft club for adults. All supplies provided.
Meetings are held generally on the second Thursday of the month at 11 a.m. at the Waterleigh Community Clubhouse, 16150 Pebble Bluff Loop, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Registration required at ocls.org. Recommended for ages 18 and up.

Horizon West Kids Book ClubList Item 1
A fun and interactive book club for young readers, where kids are encouraged to discuss a variety of books.
Meetings are held monthly on Mondays at 6:00 p.m. at the Waterleigh Phase 2 Clubhouse located at 16150 Pebble Bluff Loop, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Recommended for kids ages 6-12. No registration required.

Waterleigh Adult Book Club
Join this monthly book club for adults where a specific book is discussed. The selection changes each month. Check the website for details on the book of the month.
Meetings are held monthly generally on the third Wednesdays at 12:30 p.m. at the Waterleigh Phase 2 Clubhouse located at 16150 Pebble Bluff Loop, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
Recommended for adults 18+. No registration required.

Summer At Your Library Kicks Off in June
Families love to participate in Orange County Library System's annual Summer at Your Library where they can gather around to explore fun activities and events. Programs, classes and events will continue to be offered both in-person and online. Registration is open now.
In Horizon West, events are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. at the Waterleigh Community Clubhouse at 16150 Pebble Bluff Loop, Winter Garden, FL 34787.
