A community theater group with a mission to encourage performing artists and volunteers to create quality theater arts, offer opportunities for participation in all aspects of theatrical production, and provide education to enhance and connect our community. Adults and kids workshops & productions available.
Join fellow knitting lovers assembling for a community cause. This group will convene at Citrus Church’s The Grovehouse where everyone will work on project like a blanket or prayer shawl. These will later be prayed over in a Sunday worship service and distributed to community members experiencing hard times. The group will meet in person to review the project and knit together! All knitters, crocheters, and sewers are welcome! You do not need to be part of Citrus, or any church, to attend!

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Local troops meet at several Horizon West schools. Girls in kindergarten through high school are eligible. Adults interested in volunteering their time and talents are also welcome.
Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council program instills timeless values of character, citizenship, and leadership in each young man and woman (ages 5-18) who enters the Scouting program. AA is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Open meetings are available to anyone interested in AA’s program of recovery from alcoholism. Non-alcoholics may attend open meetings as observers. There are dues or fees for AA membership. This groups is self-supporting through our member contributions.
Create lasting business relationships by joining this micro-local networking group for professionals in or servicing the Horizon West area. Build connections through quarterly after-hours networking socials as well as regular morning meetings the first and third Wednesday of each month.
The Imagination Academy Co-op's monthly park adventures not only fosters a love for learning but also allows students to develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of various subjects in a dynamic and immersive environment. This program proves that education can be both enchanting and enlightening, all within the magical realm of Walt Disney World.
Orange County Virtual School (OCVS) is flexible online learning offered through OCPS. The OCVS Horizon West Parents group on Facebook gives parents of OCVS students in Horizon West a way to connect and find support during enrollment and throughout the school year.
Flag Football - for boys and girls ages 3 - 15. Games and practices are at Horizon High School.

Learn all styles of dance as part of Elevate Dance Team. Contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap for age 5 through adult. Classes at Water Spring Middle School.
Free weekly runs for all levels on Wednesdays at 6:30pm. Options for 5K run or 1-mile laps around Flamingo Crossings. Afterward, gather at Lime Fresh Mexican Grill to enjoy select free Mexican fare options like chips and guac, small margarita and more.
Runners and walkers of all paces are invited to meet every Monday night at 6:30PM at Home State Brewing Co. for a free, 45-minute out-and-back group run in the Hamlin area of Horizon West Town Center. Stay afterward and enjoy the welcoming group and discounted house beers at Home State.
Kids love to swim, bike, and run! Triathlons bring these three elements together to create a fun multi-sport that challenges the body and keeps them engaged. Kids in grades 1 - 5 are welcomed to join for training for kids triathlon events.

Healthy West Orange's Wellness Squad group is an online Facebook community empowering you to take control of your health through virtual challenges, recipe sharing, healthy tips and support.
Open to runners and walkers of all skill levels, this club meets at 6:30PM the first Thursday of every month for a free group run near NYBP Orlando, which is located in the Seidel area village center. 2, 3, and 5-mile course options will be available. All participants that check-in at the start can enjoy discounted food and beverages at NYBP Orlando after the run/walk.
