A community theater group with a mission to encourage performing artists and volunteers to create quality theater arts, offer opportunities for participation in all aspects of theatrical production, and provide education to enhance and connect our community. Adults and kids workshops & productions available.

Join fellow knitting lovers assembling for a community cause. This group will convene at Citrus Church’s The Grovehouse where everyone will work on project like a blanket or prayer shawl. These will later be prayed over in a Sunday worship service and distributed to community members experiencing hard times. The group will meet in person to review the project and knit together! All knitters, crocheters, and sewers are welcome! You do not need to be part of Citrus, or any church, to attend!

Car and truck lovers in Horizon West come together and share their love for automobiles on Facebook and at planned events, including cruises and morning coffee meetups.

Friendly - but competitive - cornhole players group open to all adults in Horizon West. Tournaments are held most Tuesday nights at Home State Brewing Co.

Golf cart enthusiasts who connect online as well as host social meet-ups and community events, including Annual Horizon West Golf Cart Club Halloween and Christmas parades.

A mom community working together to raise kids and one another. Boldly elevating motherhood and embracing the unexpected and imperfect together and with Jesus. Moms gather for monthly playgroups, learning sessions, moms' and couples' night out activities, and more.

A warm and inclusive environment where parents of infants, toddlers and preschoolers can connect, share experiences and watch our children learn, grow and make lasting friendships. Meets at Citrus Church, but the meet-ups are not religious and open to everyone. New sprouts are always welcome!

Foster Americanism in Horizon West's youth and patriotism in our community, and advocate for local Veterans and servicemembers by guiding them with post-military resources. Veterans strengthen our community through events and by hosting official and social meetings locally. 

Make a positive difference for children in our community. Kiwanis International is a member-based, non-profit service club dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time.

Get involved and give back through service opportunities and acts of kindness. This group shares the many volunteer opportunities available in Horizon West and surrounding communities for both youth and adults.

Support fellow Horizon West neighbors in any way they might need assistance. From collecting Thanksgiving meal supplies to offering help with specific challenges and tasks, Horizon West Cares is ready to assist.

Serve on your HOA board or on a committee to meet and help your neighbors, learn new things and make your community the best it can be.

Connect with other parents and teachers through meetings, events and communications to help build a sense of community and support your child's education.

Bears Who Care brings comfort and engages the imaginations of ill and disadvantaged children during times of need through teddy bears and books. Help inspire these children to create happy memories for years to come by volunteering to support to staff an event like their signature event Bears Who Care OktoBEARfest 5K Fun Run & Walk or others throughout the year.

Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Local troops meet at several Horizon West schools. Girls in kindergarten through high school are eligible. Adults interested in volunteering their time and talents are also welcome.

Boy Scouts of America Central Florida Council program instills timeless values of character, citizenship, and leadership in each young man and woman (ages 5-18) who enters the Scouting program. AA is a fellowship of people who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. Open meetings are available to anyone interested in AA’s program of recovery from alcoholism. Non-alcoholics may attend open meetings as observers. There are dues or fees for AA membership. We are self-supporting through our own contributions.

Create lasting business relationships by joining this micro-local networking group for professionals in or servicing the Horizon West area. Build connections through quarterly after-hours networking socials as well as regular morning meetings the first and third Wednesday of each month.

The Imagination Academy Co-op's monthly park adventures not only fosters a love for learning but also allows students to develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of various subjects in a dynamic and immersive environment. This program proves that education can be both enchanting and enlightening, all within the magical realm of Walt Disney World.

Orange County Virtual School (OCVS) is flexible online learning offered through OCPS. The OCVS Horizon West Parents group on Facebook gives parents of OCVS students in Horizon West a way to connect and find support during enrollment and throughout the school year.

Enjoy fresh air and the company of a healthy-minded, easygoing community. Join in for 45 minute cardio walking intervals at Warrior One Winter Garden Windermere every Friday morning.

Flag Football - for boys and girls ages 3 - 15. Games and practices are at Horizon High School.

Adult women's flag football league led by women, for women. Games at Horizon High School.

Learn all styles of dance as part of Elevate Dance Team. Contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, tap for age 5 through adult. Classes at Water Spring Middle School.

Runners and walkers of all paces are invited to meet every Monday night at 6:30PM at Home State Brewing Co. for a free, 45-minute out-and-back group run in the Hamlin area of Horizon West Town Center. Stay afterward and enjoy the welcoming group and discounted house beers at Home State.

Kids love to swim, bike, and run! Triathlons bring these three elements together to create a fun multi-sport that challenges the body and keeps them engaged. Kids in grades 1 - 5 are welcomed to join for training for kids triathlon events.

Healthy West Orange's Wellness Squad group is an online Facebook community empowering you to take control of your health through virtual challenges, recipe sharing, healthy tips and support.

Open to runners and walkers of all skill levels, this club meets at 6:30PM the first Thursday of every month for a free group run near NYBP Orlando, which is located in the Seidel area village center.  2, 3, and 5-mile course options will be available. All participants that check-in at the start can enjoy discounted food and beverages at NYBP Orlando after the run/walk.
