Food, Culture, Arts, Music & Passion are All Emerging in Horizon West

Over 1,200 Horizon West locals convened on Saturday, November 13th, 2021 in the Hamlin area of the Horizon West Town Center for the second annual FLAVOR FEST of Horizon West.

An immersive experience fusing together local fare, art, music and entertainment, FLAVOR FEST is an evening of mesmerizing fun and inspiration where dozens of microlocal eateries, artists, musicians, entertainers and businesses throw a high energy glow party to celebrate all the flavors that are coming to life in Horizon West!

Best of Flavor Fest 2021

The votes are in! Over 9,000 votes were cast during the week long voting period after the event!

Large festive events in Horizon West help weave the fabric of a thriving community by establishing traditions for our families and bringing neighbors and friends together to celebrate the privilege we all have of living our best life here in Horizon West!

We want to know what you love the best at these events so awarding the Best Of Flavor Fest to the participating restaurants, entertainers and experiences brought to life by local businesses serving HW is important to us. This event is designed to showcase all the flavors of Horizon West and that doesn't mean just food!

COMMUNITY PARTNER EXPERIENCES

Home State Brewing

1st Place

The Home State team came out to meet their future Horizon West neighbors and sample their first brew batch!

Cyclebar

2nd Place

Located in Horizon West Town Center - Hamlin area

Orlando Health

3rd Place

Orlando Health welcomed attendees as they arrived and provided a fun photo booth experience to create a lasting memory.

Located in Horizon West Town Center - Porter Road

ENTERTAINMENT

Fretless Rock

1st Place

Fretless Rock retuned this year to provide the soundtrack to enjoy all the flavors!

Group leader Michelle Jones is a HW Lakeside Village resident!

WeFlip Acrobats/LED Cyr Wheel

2nd Place

Crowd favorite WeFlip lit up the stage with their high jumping and mind spinning skills.

LED Pixel Party Dancing Robots & LED Butterfly

3rd Place

Tied for 3rd place, these two hung out with the crowd getting them dancing and posing for lots of photo ops!

ARTISANS

Madz Woodworkz

1st Place

Hickory Nut Village HW resident Madz Woodworkz shared their custom cornhole boards.

You can catch them at the local monthly market in Hamlin.

Coastal Canvas

2nd Place

Town Center HW resident Coastal Canvas shared their custom home decor wreaths, art pieces and ornaments.

You can catch her at the local monthly market in Hamlin.

StART Studio

3rd Place

Guests got crafty with the custom foil art creations they created and took home with them!

Located in Lakeside Village - Westside Shoppes area

FOOD

Taste of Fall - Bruster’s Ice Cream

1st Place

The slight chill in the air didn't stop anyone from embracing the Taste of Fall homemade ice cream from Bruster's!

Located in Windermere Village next to Windermere High School.

Sweet Ada Dessert

2nd Place

A very close 2nd was HW local dessert makers Sabrina & Oscar with their dreamy tasting treat called Sweet Ada.

You can catch them at the local monthly market in Hamlin and occassionally at the Horizon West Block Party!

Chip Wheel - Abbott’s Frozen Custard

3rd Place

The crowd was in the mood for sweets! Third place goes to the Chip Wheel by Abbott's.

Located in Horizon West Town Center - Hamlin area by Pizza Press

Sharing the Love!

Leading up to FlavorFest, locals who secured their tickets online and who RSVPed and shared the event on Facebook had a chance to walk away with a little more! Renee Folger was our big winner with tickets to Venardo Circus + a Horizon West Spirit Swag Bag! And 10 locals, including Lisa Horine won a free BitesBand for helping spread the word about the event and inviting her friends on Facebook!
