With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Andy Ortiz, founder of IQ Portfolios has seen firsthand the financial challenges that women face. This ninety-minute Table Talk welcomes women in all stages of life whether embarking on a new career, recently divorced, or sliding into the retirement years, women are provided the opportunity to ask their financial questions in a supportive environment.

Originally from Miami, Andy grew up with a love for the guitar and fondly reminisces on his days as a guitarist in a local band. Andy now resides in the Winter Garden area and is the proud father of an Eagle Scout and currently dealing with empty nest syndrome as his son AJ embraces his new life as a freshman at the University of Florida. Andy is highly vested in Horizon West, collaborating with local professionals to help stimulate a thriving business community. He’s a proud sponsor of the newly formed Horizon West Theater Company and founding member of the newly launched Rotary Club of Horizon West.  

Andy’s career in financial services began in 1988 where he was fortunate to secure a position at one of the largest international banks at the time. He considers himself very lucky to have been immersed into several areas of the financial world at such a young age. In 2013, Andy’s desire to provide personalized financial advice to clients with an impartial view and fiduciary responsibility led him to found IQ Portfolios.
