Residents also have the benefits of professional physical therapists and modern, senior-specific equipment in their fully equipped, on-site therapy gym. Upon move-in, new residents go through a screening process to assess current fall risk, in-home safety and any muscular, neurological or cognitive declines. Assistance is provided in organizing and providing home adaptive strategies that set the resident up for success in their new home.

For those loved ones with Alzheimer’s or memory loss, their exclusive Walk With Me care program uses an interactive system called It’s Never Too Late which helps with sequencing and memory impairment. Daily activities are included to stimulate the five senses and all areas of the brain. This helps residents with memory loss to stay active in areas they feel most comfortable.

Nowhere is their hospitality approach more evident than in their chef-created cuisine served with fresh flowers, real china and a smiling staff. The Blake works with the same suppliers of fine local restaurants to create thoughtful and well-balanced menus. The culinary team prioritizes brain-boosting foods, including nuts and fish, as well as beans, fruits and a wide array of vegetables to promote overall well-being and enhance cognitive abilities.
