Summer is growing near and Horizon West Magazine wants to enable every child to find their perfect camp experience—whether it's during summer break or spring break. And with so many fantastic camp options right here in our Horizon West community, the added convenience for Mom and Dad is a given.
Our area is offers a treasure trove of camp opportunities designed to cater to a diverse array of interests and ages. From budding athletes to aspiring performers and young scientists, there's a camp tailored to ignite passion and foster skill development—not just in the summer months, but even during spring break for a fun-filled week of discovery. Spring break camps can also be a great way for kids to sample programs before committing to a full summer session!
To help ensure a season filled with laughter, learning and lasting memories, we have curated a selection of local camps that will keep kids engaged and keep parents satisfied with the convenience of having them close to home.
Don't forget—Camps offer more than just fun! They provide invaluable experiences that promote personal growth, teamwork, and a lifelong love for learning. Camps provide a structured, yet informal setting for children to interact, helping them develop social skills in a natural setting. Exploring shared interests together helps deepen connections, making children feel they are part of a special group where everyone understands and appreciates each other's passions.

Arts and Crafts, activities, sport and much more! Spend this year’s spring break with your friends, counselors, and the Winter Garden Parks and Recreation staff. Qualified, well-trained staff will provide a safe and outstanding break for your child. Campers must bring a packed lunch, snacks, and a water bottle to camp every day

DETAILS: It's time to build the wildest gadgets you can dream up! Campers will take on engineering challenges like marble runs, tall structures, and origami inventions, learning teamwork and creativity as they go. By the end of the week, they'll be proud of the amazing contraptions they've built!

It focuses on a holistic approach, incorporating the game's technical, tactical, physical, and mental aspects. You will develop the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the field through rigorous training sessions and dedicated coaching. The program also enhances your movement, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills to ensure you are mentally and physically ready to take action on the pitch.
